I need to find a place to rent a PA system for this event. I want to have the music playing outside and home stereos just don't get it done.

Danstock aka. Burning Dan 2008

When: May 16 - 18 2008

Why??! You ask?

First Ever (and likely last) Burning Dan Festival! or Danstock or whatever...

It's my 40th birthday, which in and of itself is no big deal but it is an excuse to have a big-ass party.

Where? 829 Thatcher Rd. Quakertown, PA (Dad's House)

Kegs of homebrew, barbeque, more beer, bonfire, camping. The whole nine!

More Details as they are developing..

This is a family friendly event. Feel free to bring your whole posse. There will be activities for the kids, go-karts, mini bikes, archery, semi-controlled structural demolition using improvised explosive devices.

Kidding! About the last one, that's for adults only, the others are for real.

Camping will be available to all, with plenty of facilities for showers and bathrooms.

There will be horseshoe pits, volleyball court, bean bag toss. Lake Nockamixon is nearby and we will have kayaks, and sailboat on hand.

Those who can remain sober for a sufficient period of time can enjoy a nice motorcycle ride around Tinicum and Haycock townships.

There will be a seafood boil Friday and barbeque Saturday nights, Bloody Mary bar Saturday and Sunday mornings, and if prior experience is any judge enough food and drink to supply the First Army will be generally available the entire time.
